Cash Michael Cassens

Cash Michael Cassens
Born March 27th, 2010*6:38 am
8 pounds 3 ounces*20 inches

Feeling good after having my epidural. Waiting for Cash to be born.

After 2 hours of pushing, Cash just didn't want to come out so the doctor and us decided a c-section would be the best. Cory had to get dressed in scrubs, while I got prepped for surgery.

After a very long night, Cash Michael was finally here.

Our Family.

CASH'S ROOM

Cash's Room

Corys mom made all the bedding for Cash's crib. It all turned out amazing!

Cory and our good friend Sarah painted Cash's room while I was out of town in Arizona for my baby shower. It turned out perfect.

Corys Dad made the bassanet, which cousin Joshua slept in when he was a baby. And now its Cash's turn.

His room is perfect. A perfect room for a perfect little boy.

Baby Shower Iowa

Baby Shower in Iowa 3-6-10

I love this ice cream cake. The design is perfect!!

All the girls, well most of them from the office. I love this group!

Sarah made the cutest cakes! No one ate them because they looked too good to eat. We know who will be making Cash's first birthday cake.

Katie, Me, Tiff, and Tria.
Thanks girls, the shower was wonderful.

Everyone knows that I do not like cake, so instead they gota cookie cake. Not only did it look good, but it tasted even better!

Heres the group, minus a few that had to leave early. We had such a great time, and the weather was perfect!

Cory's new hobby

Cory has started reupholstering car interiors. This is his second car that he has done. A little more in depth then the first one.

He has an industrial sewing machine upstairs in the loft of our garage.

The seats are black vinyl with red swede piping and inserts. The theme for the vehicle is black widow.

The door panels are all black vinyl with the Toyota logo inserts on the front of the door panels, because the truck has suicide doors.

SNOW DAY!!!

December 2009 Snow Day

We had so much snow and wind that I had a snow day and did not have to go to work. Cory was already home for the day, so that was nice. We ventured out about a block and a half to go to spend the day with our friends, Katie and Sarah. We had a great breakfast, a lot of hot cocoa with marshmallows, and just an all around great day. Cory and Sarah did have to go out and dig both their house, and our house out from the snow.

There were huge drifts all around the house it was pretty crazy that on the north front side of the house there wasn't that much snow, while on the south side of the house there was a ton of snow. You can barely see the reindeer we have in the front side yard.
Chandler had some trouble with the snow, as you can see hes no match for the drifts in the backyard. He went out, did his business and then came running right back inside. While Chester loved the snow. We had a hard time getting him back in the house. He would play ball and run through the highest drifts just to get his ball. He loves the snow! (I think he takes after Cory)

ITS A BOY!

ITS A BOY!

We went to the doctor today and had our first ultrasound. It was so exciting because we found out we are having a boy! He's almost a pound in weight and looks very good. We got tons of pictures of him. And he was so cute with his legs crossed at the ankles and his arm up around his head, just relaxing.
