December 2009 Snow Day
We had so much snow and wind that I had a snow day and did not have to go to work. Cory was already home for the day, so that was nice. We ventured out about a block and a half to go to spend the day with our friends, Katie and Sarah. We had a great breakfast, a lot of hot cocoa with marshmallows, and just an all around great day. Cory and Sarah did have to go out and dig both their house, and our house out from the snow.
There were huge drifts all around the house it was pretty crazy that on the north front side of the house there wasn't that much snow, while on the south side of the house there was a ton of snow. You can barely see the reindeer we have in the front side yard. Chandler had some trouble with the snow, as you can see hes no match for the drifts in the backyard. He went out, did his business and then came running right back inside. While Chester loved the snow. We had a hard time getting him back in the house. He would play ball and run through the highest drifts just to get his ball. He loves the snow! (I think he takes after Cory)
