SNOW DAY!!!

December 2009 Snow Day

We had so much snow and wind that I had a snow day and did not have to go to work. Cory was already home for the day, so that was nice. We ventured out about a block and a half to go to spend the day with our friends, Katie and Sarah. We had a great breakfast, a lot of hot cocoa with marshmallows, and just an all around great day. Cory and Sarah did have to go out and dig both their house, and our house out from the snow.

There were huge drifts all around the house it was pretty crazy that on the north front side of the house there wasn't that much snow, while on the south side of the house there was a ton of snow. You can barely see the reindeer we have in the front side yard.

Chandler had some trouble with the snow, as you can see hes no match for the drifts in the backyard. He went out, did his business and then came running right back inside. While Chester loved the snow. We had a hard time getting him back in the house. He would play ball and run through the highest drifts just to get his ball. He loves the snow! (I think he takes after Cory)

We went to the doctor today and had our first ultrasound. It was so exciting because we found out we are having a boy! He's almost a pound in weight and looks very good. We got tons of pictures of him. And he was so cute with his legs crossed at the ankles and his arm up around his head, just relaxing.

We put up the christmas tree, of course with help from Chandler and Chester. And this week Im finally 20 weeks along. Were getting there, only 4 more months to go!

Pumpkin Picking

Cory and I and our good friends Katie and Sarah all went out pumpkin picking. We went to a pumpkin patch about 15 miles from our house. It was fun because we got to go and cut the pumpkins we wanted from the vines. And after an afternoon filled with carving all the pumpkins we all choose, Sarah and Katie made some really good pumpkin seeds.

Scotty took all of us out on a night ride, it was interesting, and a little scary. Im just glad I didnt crash into a cactus :)

We had so much fun quadding. We are glad that we had the time to do it while we were home.

Joshua's Baptism

Coronado Island, CaliforniaCory and I biked to a beach, it was so beautiful. And the best part no one was there so we had the whole beach to ourselves.

Wedding BBQ

The day after the wedding we had a BBQ for our friends and family. This is a cake that one of Amy's friends made for us. It was beautiful!

Our Wedding

So after 13 years, we finally decided to make it official! We got married at Holy Trinity Church, in Chandler, Arizona. They place where we first met. We got married by our pastor, Pastor Lee who has known Cory since he was 5, and Me since I was 10. It only seemed right.

My sister Sandy and Cory's best friend Pete stood up with us. My sister has know me well, her entire life, and Pete has known Cory since second grade. We've been through a lot with them. It was perfect that they were there for us on our wedding day.

The entire family. Boy we are growing each year with new members adding to our family. I am just so happy that I finally get an official picture with both families together. (Although we have already been a family before the the wedding)

We finally did it! We couldn't be more happier!

Our Dreams

This is our dream house, which we moved into March 2008. We had walked through it so many times, but the price wasnt right. We waited about a year in a half and finally the price was right and we jumped on it. And its a good thing that we did, because so did another couple. Somehow we pulled it off and it was ours a month later. It needs a lot of work, mostly cosmetic. (There is wallpaper everywhere!) But it will be alot of fun making it our own. It sits on amolst a half acre, so there is a lot of yard work to be done in the summer.

Closet Remodel

We have started remodeling the house. When we first moved in every room was wallpapered, and we are slowly going room by room and removing the wallpaper. It is taking forever, and I am starting to hate wallpaper. This is the closet down under the stairs before we ripped the shelves out and took down the wallpaper.



This is after! Cory moved the coat rod back further in the closet so there wasnt so much wasted space behind the coats. He also built shelves for our dvds and other things. It is so nice to walk in the closet and be able to move and find things.

Only about 5 weeks till our wedding lots of things to do still and not a lot of time left. But we are both very excited and can not wait till its over :)
